We confirm receipt of your CHF 1000/ donation with gratitude ā Our heartfelt thanks for your gesture of solidarity and continued support over the years towards women fleeing violence and their children. This year has been extraordinary for us all hence we value it even more that you were able to make this donation despite not being able to hold a bake-off event āThis is anything but routine.
It is a life-altering decision for women seeking refuge in Frauenhaus beider Basel who flee circumstances they were placed into and, for which they themselves were not responsible for. To break with familiar environments and walk into the unknown, one often tied with insecurities, could be a big step for them.
At Frauenhaus women and children are able to find their own quiet spaces. Employees trained in Social welfare are at hand to assist and accompany their needs. In addition, creating a platform for providing development opportunities for children are taken into account as well. Thus each woman is able to choose a life path of her own choice without being obliged to do so.
With your donation, you assist to help women find their footing and lead a violence free life in a self- determined manner ā Thank you very much for making this possible.
